Pinewood is a character that was added for the Kart Kingdom app in 2017. He looks like he is riding a pinewood derby kart, which actually exists in the files.
He first officially appeared in the blog post, When Can I Play KK On My iPad?, and later appeared on the website's banner.
He was added to the list of characters set to appear in the recently added Kart Kingdom Racing. He finally appeared on 6/4/18.
